The firm's success is founded on a serious commitment not merely to litigation, but to trial work. Our firm tries as many cases as any civil firm in the state. Mr. Nelson has tried 55 jury trials in the federal and state courts of Montana. These cases have been tried from Missoula to Sidney, across a geographic territory spanning 600 miles. Our goal is prompt, fair, efficient resolution of claims under terms favorable to our clients.
The best way to ensure advantageous resolution of claims is a practice of readiness and willingness to proceed to trial, and a history of positive results in the courtroom. A report of our adjudicated matters, as reported by the Montana Law Week, may be found on the Case Results page.
A sample reported appellate decision may be viewed at U.S. Specialty Ins. Co. v. Estates of Ward and Melotz where we prevailed in the Montana Supreme Court on the first impression issue of stacking aircraft liability coverage.
Our firm represents defendants and institutions who have been sued on a state-wide basis. We are currently handling claims in 15 Montana cities and towns. Randy Nelson is a licensed pilot, with efficient access to remote lawsuit venues with his own plane. A profile of the firm members may be viewed on the Biographies page.
